An app for iPhone

Use your phone
on purpose.

Still holds back the apps you choose, so the rest of your phone stays exactly as it is. Fewer distractions. More life.

Free. iPhone with iOS 16 or later. No account needed to start.

What Still does

Quiet, on your terms.

You pick the apps. Still decides when they stay shut. Nothing else on your phone changes.

Shield the apps you choose

Pick apps in Apple’s own list. During a focus session, schedule or timed block, they show a calm Still screen instead of opening.

Focus sessions

Start a timed block of deep focus from one tap. Your chosen apps stay shut until it ends, and your streak is kept for you.

Schedules

Set recurring quiet hours, like an evening wind-down or work mornings. Still starts and ends them for you while it is open.

A pause before you go in

Open an app from Still and take a short breath first. Then decide if you really want to continue, and for how long.

A calm home screen

A quiet launcher with only the apps you actually need, a clock, and your battery. No grid of badges.

Gentle insights

See your focus time, streak and pickups, with a weekly report that celebrates progress instead of scolding.

How it works

Set up in a couple of minutes.

  1. Tell us your rhythm

Share roughly how long you use your phone and what you want back.

  2. Allow Screen Time

Still uses Apple’s Screen Time to shield apps. You can switch it off any time in iOS Settings.

  3. Choose your apps

Pick the ones that pull you in, using Apple’s own app picker.

  4. Start a session

Begin a focus session, or set a schedule, and let Still hold the line.

Private by design

Your apps stay yours.

  • Handled by iOS. The apps you pick are managed by Apple’s Screen Time. Still never sees their names, your browsing or your messages.
  • No ads, no selling. We do not sell your data and we do not show ads.
  • Yours to take or delete. Export your data or delete your account from inside the app, any time.

Questions

Good to know.

What does Still actually block?

Only the apps, categories and websites you choose in Apple’s picker. They are shielded while a focus session, a schedule or a timed block is running. Everything else on your phone works as normal.

Why does it need Screen Time access?

That is the iOS feature that lets an app put a shield over other apps. Your selection stays on your phone and Still cannot read the names of the apps you pick. You can turn access off any time in Settings › Screen Time.

How do I lift a shield early?

Open Still and end your focus session, switch off the schedule, or end the timed block. iOS does not let a shield screen open Still for you, so it is always done from inside the app.

What is the pause?

When you open an app through Still that you have set a pause for, a short breathing moment appears first so you can choose on purpose. You can change its length in Settings.

Do I need an account?

No. You can use Still as a guest. If you want your streaks and settings saved across devices, add an email, Apple or Google sign-in from your profile.

Is Still free?

Yes. There are no purchases or subscriptions in the app right now.

Is Still medical advice?

No. Still is a tool to help you build healthier phone habits. It is not medical or mental-health advice.

Come back to what matters.

Put a little stillness between you and your phone.
